Kris Vanermotten's Paint.NET Effect

Every time I was opening PDN, I got a dialogue box saying that v3.5 of the above was available. I downloaded the zip file and unzipped it to the effects folder in PDN.

However, when I open PDN, I still get the dialogue box. I thought downloading and installing would stop the dialogue box appearing but it hasn't. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. Glynn.

if I remember right, his effects use an installer, so the zip contains an exe file you run and tell it what effects you want to install.

Thanks for the reply. You're right, there is a setup.exe file in amongst all the unzipped stuff. However, when I try to run it, I get another dialogue box which says that

"You must have Paint.NET to install CustomBrushesMini."

Of course, I already have PDN, so I'm not sure what the issue is here.

That's the wrong file. CBM wasn't written by Kris Vanermotten and hasn't used that (or any) installer for ages.

Thanks for the replies gents. Sorted. I've updated PDN to 3.5.4 and installed Kris's effects.
