When it got to the part where the microsoft .NET framework thing popped, then when it was finished it made a ding noise and closed but i cant find the file anywhere on my comp so i figure it didnt finish. Find out how to determine what is (and isn't) installed here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/kb00318785.aspx It is recommended that NET 3.5 + SP1 is installed. If you haven't got it, then you'll need to get it. Note also that XP + SP3 is highly recommended. Find out if you have SP3: Start-->Run--> "sysdm.cpl" and read it off the first tab.
