oblachubs Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I am working on sprite sheets and paste the photo in a 32x32 pixel new doc. Then I want to enlarge the photo by clicking a corner and dragging it to the 32x32 size. When I do so the character sprite looks blurred. Is there a way I can do it with that not happening? Thanks. pyrochild Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Moved to General Discussion & Questions When resizing via selection nubs, Bilinear (or maybe Bicubic) resampling is used. This is great for photographs, but not so much for pixel-based art like spritesheets. You want to use Image -> Resize (Ctrl+R) and set the Resampling mode to Nearest Neighbor. oblachubs Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Never mind I figured it out. You have to change the dropdown at the top from smooth to pixelated and it works! Thanks anyway. Quote

Frontcannon Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 I didn't know that Pixel Art could be treated like a vector graphic. Going to try this out... Quote Night Vision Text Effect Tutorial Gallery reddit.com/r/futurebeats | My Mixcloud
