I mainly used it for making avy's and sigs for people on various forums, I will not post those here, however (for who desires so) you can see a fair amount of them on my own site. I'm also an amateur astrophysicist and SciFi-lover, and i'd like to focus now on such images: 100%PDN A study i did about planet textures: Hidden Content: 1. an earth-like planet 2. A rocky planet with atmosphere 3. a rocky planet without athmosphere4. A heavily cratered moon 5. a Jupiter-like gas giant 6. a Neptune-like gas giant 95%PDN I used some existing metal texture, but they're highly blended, i've added erosion, stains, scratches here are the orignals: Hidden Content: I know you can make'm yourself and i did, but then PDN crashed on me before i saved, so i quickly googled some. However, your sig gives me a headache. If you could lose the animation, or at least tone it down quite a bit, I and many others would appreciate it greatly. The one Pyrochild mentioned is very good but not overly fond of the colours for the stars. No pleasing some eh? Sig looks good but think it might need some drop shadow on the text to give it a bit more contrast/pop. Avvie is a scream. Love it! Great gallery so far & definitely one to watch! NoNonsense Posted March 2, 2010 Author Share Posted March 2, 2010 @Sokagirl Glad you like it and yeah, blue seems to really work on it. @chrisco97 Thx, mainly followed tuts here on the site for that one. @barbieq25 yeah, wanted smth eye-catching, guess i went literal. the stars i colored them on the theory that as light has to travel greater distance, the wavelength lowers in amplitude and the color goes from white/blue till red, but i'm not so happy with the result either. @ooOO dunno mate, i see them just fine and apperently so do others, so i guess the problem is on your end. I tried you metal tute but I must have been too tired because I stuffed up on the placements of the shapes. I wanted to make a purplish shiny one. Kinda titanium style.
