scampo
Hi - I'm moving from PS to Paint.Net and enjoying the experience but I can't find the answer to one problem. In PS when a selection is made using, say, the rectangular selection tool, handles form on the side and corners of the selected area to allow a more accurate selection to be made. This doesn't seem to happen in Paint.Net, either the first selected area can be moved or changed as a whole or, as soon as the mouse button is clicked, the whole selection is lost. This is meaning that I have to guess much more accurately what selection I need and get it right first time. I think I must be missing something obvious but, search as I may, I can't find the answer. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Steve
Curmudgeon
after you make a selection, change to the (move selection tool) you should then see the nubs at all 4 corners and sides
david.atwell
In addition, you can change the selection mode to Addition or Subtraction for fine control. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
