rdo
Hi All, Having an issue with a plug in. I just downloaded Paint.net yesterday and added the PSD plugin to open a basic template file I had. All went well with the plug in until I tried to actually open the file. It opened it BUT I was not able to see the guidelines as I was able to do in GIMP. I would much rather use Paint.net b/c GIMP is not at all user friendly and don't have hours to figure it out. Any suggestions would be great! The guideline is basically just 2 lines down the middle of the page. Nothing major but I need them to start my project. THANKs1
Sarkut
rdo, Try this: Open your .psd in GIMP. Save as a different filename with GIMP filetype ( .xcf extension ). Re-open the new .xcf file and Save as .psd. This has helped previously to make .psd files more usable in Paint.NET.
Rick Brewster
Paint.NET doesn't support guidelines. PSD support is handled by a plugin; it is not built-in functionality.
