arungolas Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 The old version does not open. When I tried to uninstall it, it proceeded, but got stuck after sometime. Now, I am unable to install either the old version or the new version 3.5. After some processing, I get a dialogue box which says "Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'PaintDotNet_1969127905.msi' in the box below." Sarkut Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) Try running chkdsk, with the /f parameter, from the command line. chkdsk with /f parameter Then reboot the PC and install Paint.NET.
