reckford
Hey guys I am new to your forum but I have been using Paint.Net since the early days under other usernames. Anyway here is everything I have ever made in Paint.Net from oldest to newest. Note: I converted a lot of this stuff to JPEG so it wouldnt take years to load. Sorry if some of it turns to bad quality. Oldest Nickname: Frenzy Various avatars I planned to have the gif be all 255 colors I could make it through hue+saturation, but I got bored and never finished. The gif above is a test. *I followed the "Make a Software Box" tutorial* An avatar I made, one of my favorite creations ever. A 3 step sun I made *following "Gold Text" tutorial* Next screenname: Fallout The chubby ones were mad for a different member. Also made for another member Again, another member. Third screenname: reckford (current) And my most current work, everything after the new year (2010): These were all basic contrast changes. Based off these 2 video cards: and finally: Hope you enjoyed them.
r3b3l
Is it too much to ask you to provide a tutorial on this image? It is amazing.
reckford
Sure! Sorry if its not perfect I had to recollect the whole process since I have not done this in 2 years. 1.Open a new image 2.Image>Resize to 800x800 3.New Layer (Name: Background Color) 4.Fill Black or whatever color you want for the background color 5.New Layer (Name: Gradient) 6.Create a gradient for whatever 2 foreground colors you want. They should be relatively close together in shade (I choose the Dark and Light grey standard colors for Paint.Net), drag from the top border of the image to the bottom border 7.Effects>Distort>Dents +Scale 50 +Refraction 140 +Roughness 0 +Tension 15 +Quality 5 8.New Layer (Name:Shadow) 9.Create a filled square inside this layer in any color; 600x600 size 10.Align the square in the middle center of the image 11.Select the outside of the square using magic want and then switch to the layer called Gradient 12.Hit Delete to delete the outside of the gradient from that layer under the shadow layer. You should only be able to see the shadow layer now. 13.Hide the shadow layer and select the gradient layer again 14.Effects>Distort>Dents +Scale 50 +Refraction 140 +Roughness 0 +Tension 15 +Quality 5 15.New Layer (Name: Border) 16.Create an unfilled rounded square; 600x600 size; black 17.Using the magic wand, select the outside of the rounded rectangle at 64% tolerance 18.Select the gradient layer while this is still selected, and delete all the excess. 19.Repeat this for the background color layer Thats all I can remember for now
