Ukrainian localization

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

As I remember, previous versions of PAINT.net had Ukrainian user interface. But after one of updates it was lost.

Are there any ppl, who can help with translation into Ukrainian, and does anybody have Ukrainian language file from the previous versions?

Use the English language in this forum, please.

That rule doesn't apply in the Localization forum.

What kind of problem are you talking about? Ukrainian interface localization you can find at this link.

Я подготовил файл интерфейса paint.net на украинском языке. Распакуйте архив и поместите его в папку paint.net.

Если кто-либо из украиноязычных пользователей сможет протестировать этот перевод и дать свои отзывы, замечания, предложения, то в paint.net в ближайшее время может появиться официальная украинская версия интерфейса.

Я обновил файл PaintDotNet.Strings.3.uk.zip (см. предыдущее сообщение) с учетом двух новых эффектов в paint.net версии 4.1.

Is this a full translation for 4.1? Are you okay with joining Crowdin.net? I could make this part of the official Paint.NET distribution

I think this will stimulate new Ukrainian members to join the PDN.

Okay, let me know your Crowdin user name when you're ready. I can probably release this with 4.1.1, which should be within the next week or two.

Okay I've uploaded it to crowdin. There are some missing strings that are new in 4.1:

FontSizeMetric.Fixed96Dpi
FontSizeMetric.Points
Menu.Edit.CopySelection.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Exclude.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Intersect.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Replace.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Union.Text
Menu.Edit.PasteSelection.Xor.Text
PasteSelectionAction.Error.NoSelection
PasteSelectionAction.Error.TransferFromClipboard
PasteSelectionFromClipboardAction.HistoryMemento.Exclude.Text
PasteSelectionFromClipboardAction.HistoryMemento.Intersect.Text
PasteSelectionFromClipboardAction.HistoryMemento.Replace.Text
PasteSelectionFromClipboardAction.HistoryMemento.Union.Text
PasteSelectionFromClipboardAction.HistoryMemento.Xor.Text
ToolConfigStrip.HardnessSlider.DecrementButton.ToolTipText
ToolConfigStrip.HardnessSlider.IncrementButton.ToolTipText
ToolConfigStrip.ToleranceSlider.DecrementButton.ToolTipText
ToolConfigStrip.ToleranceSlider.IncrementButton.ToolTipText

I have completed the translation.

Also I clarified 12 phrases that contain the English word 'default' because Google or Microsoft offer equivalent (За замовчуванням) is absolutely no sense in the Ukrainian language.
