Ok, so this is a game which I think could be pretty fun… Works like this…

You translate the sentence in the post above yours from English into another language (one that you know – Googling the translation doesn’t count!)

Then you leave another random English sentence for the next person to translate.

This game only works if you speak more than one language though…

Since there’s nothing for me to translate, I shall leave the first random sentence.

The toast you made was awesome.

Verlassen Sie alle Hoffnung, Sie, das hier anmelden

Is that supposed to be German?

That sentence from Dante's Divine Comedy would translate to

Lasst alle Hoffnung fahren, die, die ihr hier eintretet.

Proper German, this time:

Bitte legen sie die Buntstifte in die farblich entsprechenden Schachteln/Boxen/Kisten (German has at least 3 words for everything).

Viikinki Bjarni viettää hiljaista ja rauhallista elämää kylässä Grönlannin rannikolla kunnes eräänä päivänä synkkä ennustus rikkoo hänen elämänsä idyllin.

All the world's a stage. And all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.

Please forgive my possible complaints. I'm but an annoying little perfectionist when it comes to using english...

E: Curses at the post above. Incredibly, we both translated the sentence to the same language. O__O

Might as well take this time to practice my Spanish:

Yeah, I know, but why should I learn topography, I didn't say that Byantium and Baghdad were parts of Europe, I meant to say that it took him through Europe + England, through Byzantium, and through Baghdad.

Bye Bye PDN!
