How would one make a fading line?

Recommended Posts

I think that's the way I'd like to put it. Anyway, I'd like to edit the line at the top on this image:

So that the end of the line gradually fades out. I've been loyal to PDN, and spend most of my time on it, but I still don't know how to do this. (Either that or it's lost in the back of my head.)

Help please? I've searched multiple times.

OH NO. IT'S A SIG.

Put the line on its own layer, then run a gradient in transparent mode over the top of it. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
