jerry533482
I've noticed that, throughout the forum, the mods never approve of any minor questions. Or at least, they don't think the questions deserve their own threads. So what do you get? A locked thread. Along the way, however, I've seen a bunch of worthless questions floating throughout the Alfredo. So, I figured, why not start a thread in the Alfredo where users can post minor questions? It's that simple. This is a place to post questions about Paint.NET that would have otherwise gotten locked because the mods believe there's no point to them. So, if you've always wondered something about PDN that seems rather obvious, Minor Yaps is your place to yap about it(err, post. whatever.). Happy Yaps, guys! Mods-if you believe there is no point to this thread, please don't let an argument erupt. I'm asking you to lock it(only if it goes that far, of course). 007 Nab
I think the Offtopic thread is a good place for minor questions as well. Dedicated threads sound "official", which, is a violation of the rules. But, I guess we'll see what the mods have to say about it... "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. jerry533482
The reason I'm posting this is, every time I try to ask something small about PDN, it get's locked. I thought an organized section in the Alfredo might solve this. Trust me, this is not official. And as in "small" and "minor" I mean stuff about PDN that seems obvious, but you're not sure. And have you seen the other organized threads out there? They've been up for 3 years, with over 10,000 responses! Literally, 10k! Amazing. Don't people get bored of the same thread after awhile? cazaron
thats true, but the paint.net discussion is a whole FORUM for pdn questions... and, usually if you post in there, theyll be answered then locked. just because they get locked isnt necessarily because they're breaking the rules, its usually to prevent possible fights. just my opinion, its all what the mods think though. You should get the Win7 theme for XP. Then get the rest of Win7. Then uninstall XP. Then it'll really look nice. ~ David Atwell
david.atwell
This is really exactly the point of the thread. Read the first post of that thread...it sounds a lot like yours. :-) Anyway, when the first 4 posts of a thread are all musings on whether or not it should be locked, I take that as a sign that it should be locked. :-) The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
