VanRasmus
Hey there If i have created a motive, how do i then disable all the white, that sorrunds it? - Let say i'll paint a red triangle, and saves it. Then when i opens the image ( ex. jpeg, png etc.) it wont be just a red triangle, there will be a white square frame sorrounding it - you know? I have tried to delete it with magic wand, but as said, it's still there when i open it. Thanks for any helpfull answers!
mcamp14
The JPEG file format does not support transparency, gif and I think tiff both support transparency. Sarkut
VanRasmus, When you open Paint.NET, first make a new (transparent) layer. Next, delete the default white background layer. Make your red triangle on the transparent layer. Save as PNG.
Lance McKnight
Alternatively, you could on the background layer use this keyboard short cut CTRL+A to select the whole image, and then press delete. Make a triangle on a new layer. Either way works. And yes, save it as PNG file. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.
