Mcpaulo
I can't seem to find the 'Smudge' tool in version 3.5.1. Could somebody please direct me to where it is? Thanks - McPaulo
Genius
Because there is NO SMUDGE tool in Paint.Net. Quote Apple rules. Microsoft rules. Paint.Net rules. God Bless America.
Mcpaulo
I'm sure there was in the previous version- what happened to it?
Lance McKnight
Genius, you are incorrect. Mcpaulo, a forum member, pyrochild, developed a plugin called Smudge. You can download it as a part of his pack in the Plugin Section. Look for it as a sticky'd thread. Edit: Gave link to his pack. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day. Mcpaulo
Ah, thank you very much, Lance McKnight. I thought it was already installed .
Lance McKnight
My pleasure, Mcpaulo. Never be afraid to use search and ask questions. Quote Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day.
Rick Brewster
Ah, thank you very much, Lance McKnight. I thought it was already installed . It needed some changes to work with v3.5. The old version had to be blocked from loading -- so, pick your poison: Paint.NET crashing when you try to Smudge, or Smudge causing confusion due to its absence (albeit showing up covertly in Utilities -> View Plugin Load Errors). Neither one is great, but in general I first steer around crashes.
