this is my first tut so take it easy on me lol.

i have been reading through some threads and came across a thread that

shows you how to turn yourself into gold ( viewtopic.php?f=12&t=32989 )

so these are the plugins you need:

1.Metallize viewtopic.php?f=16&t=30713

2. Color Balance viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3135

okay then here we go:

1.open up paint.net

2.paste a picture ohh what you want on top of your trophy

1.jpg

3.make the background transparent

2.jpg

4.Effects>>Photo>>Metalize

10.jpg

and then it will look somthing like this

3.jpg

5.Adjustments>>colorBalence

11.jpg

and then it will look somthing like this

4.jpg

okay now youve made one part of the trophy, and you must now make the base.

6.new layer

12.jpg

7.paste a picture of what you want as the base of the trophy

5.jpg

8.make background transparent

6.jpg

9.Effects>>Photo>>Metalize

10.jpg

and then it should look somthing like this

7.jpg

10.Adjustments>>colorBalence

11.jpg

and it should look somthing like this

8.jpg

11.now add the top of the trophy on the bottom of it like this

9.jpg

No, this isn't rubbish :)

However, the whole thing looks :AntiAliasingOff: , even the screenshots.

That's because these are .gif files and the browser loads a simple version of the image first and then the full version. This is useful for slower connections.

nicely done. perhaps not quite so much yellow. I think the trophies are not quite that saturated color wise.

other than that. simple and easy enough for begginners. When the beginners get more experience they will be able to explore more realistic looking metal. one tut to also view is the one by ASH about changing things to metal using conditional hue. I also show it in my tut about the sword.
