Crazy Man Dan
The system requirements are right at the top at the Paint.NET Download page: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html Quote I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype

Sarkut
PdN v.3.36 required only NETv.2.0. However, PdN v.3.36 is no longer supported.
Rick Brewster
.NET Framework is a free download. Just install 3.5 SP1 and then you'll be able to install the latest Paint.NET. In fact, Paint.NET v3.5.1. will automatically detect and install the right version of .NET that you need. So ... just download and install it. It'll take care of the prerequisites. nlehrer
i totally understand that. however, we have some apps that are not yet compatible with .net 3.5 and they are higher on the food chain than paint.net. so i was hoping i could use a back level for a while. pyrochild
.NET versions exist side-by-side. You can have 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 all installed at the same time. In fact, 3.5's installer installs 2.0 and 3.0 as well. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
