corruption21
Im new to Paint.Net and i was wondering how you would resize something within the frame. I don't want to resize the entire thing i just want to resize a layer. My apologies if this is painfully obvious or a frequent question. Crazy Man Dan
^ [Ctrl]+[shift]+[Z] will bring up the Rotate/Zoom tool for that layer, and you can decrease its size with the Zoom slider. Alternately, select the layer, select the black arrow tool, click on the canvas to select the whole layer, and click-drag one of the nubs. You can also click-drag anywhere other than a nub to reposition the scaled layer. Note that Paint.NET does not actually have individual layer sizes, so you're not scaling the layer, you're resizing the layer's contents. The layer itself is always the same size as the canvas, and anything not within the canvas area when a transformation is finalized will be lost.
