burningrock Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 This will be a tutorial to make this: The plugins that are needed are : Pyrochild's outline object Madjk's Hexanogal grid Dake's Zoom blur deluxe 1. Start with a 500px X 100px Canvas, Fill it with black 2. Add a new layer :AddNewLayer: Set primary color to FF0000 And run hexanogal grid at these settings : Size : 42 Draw mode : center Brush width : 6 3. Add a new layer :AddNewLayer: And run hexanogal grid at these settings : Size : 92 Draw mode : Center Brush width : 22 ~It should look like this : 4. Duplicate the layer with the big hexagrid 5. Run zoom blur deluxe on the top layer with these settings : Amount : 2 dots. Center : Both 50 Quality : Low 6. Run Zoom blur deluxe on the layer with the smaller hexagrid with these settings : Amount : 4 dots. Center : Both 50 Quality : High 7. Merge all layers with hexagrid down. You should now have 2 layers a Black layer and a hexagrid layer. 8. Run (On the hexagrid layer) 2 Diamond + Transparant gradients From the middle to the right. ~It should look something like this : Hidden Content: 9. Duplicate the hexagrid layer and set the blending mode to glow. 10. Run glow on the duplicated version of the hexagrid layer with these settings : Radius : 20 Brightness: 10 Contrast : 10 11. Merge all layers down 12. Add a new layer and name it : Text (Let's start naming the layers ) 13. Add your text with a black colour font doesn't matter. 14. On the text layer run outline object With these settings Width : 5 Softness : 127 Colour : White Angle is off 15. Duplicate the text layer and name the duplication : "Text 2" 16. Run gaussian blur with an radius of 1 on the "Text 2" layer 17. Run gaussian blur with an radius of 2 on the "Text" layer 18. Merge the text layers together And set the opacity to "174" ~It should look like this : Hidden Content: 19. Add a new layer and name it "Glow" 20. Draw with white a line in the middle top of your canvas like this : 21. Run Gaussian blur with an radius you think looks nice. (I used 75) Well you just made it Please comment.
