Paint Bucket
Today I got on Paint.Net to design something I was working on and it asked for an update. After I finished the update it looked like every image had been updated. I thought it was really cool, but I noticed that the text tool had some problems. Where is the Sharp/Smooth Text box? Thanks, Paint Bucket
Paint Bucket
It's been about 24 hours. I hate to bump this, but I really need help.
Rick Brewster
Sharp/Smooth is no longer necessary. If you want to disable antialiasing, which "Sharp" sometimes indirectly provided, that button is farther to the right side of the toolbar. Greyhead
Yeah I'm having problems with text too. I found the antialiasing thing, but the text simply isn't anywhere near as smooth as it was in the previous version. Even with antialiasing on the text looks scruffy and pixellated. barbieq25
Sometimes I use Gassian Blur @ 2 to smooth things out. Does this help at all? Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery
Greyhead
It works to a degree, as does making the text double-sized then shrinking it down, but it's a bit of a pain and the results simply aren't as good. By the way, I use XP if that's any help (I understand v3.5 is optimised for Windows 7?)
