cattails
Trying to find a site or source that shows how colors are created. For example I'm sure green has some black but what else? The hue may make a difference but I'm not trying to get that technical. Color pickers I've come across only show different shades of the same color to help match the complete scheme. Thought if I knew how colors were created I'd find matches better. Appreciate opinions.
Rick Brewster
Well, when a mommy color and a daddy color love each other very much ... But seriously, just try poking around Wikipedia. Plenty of information there. Sarkut
cattails: Open Paint.NET and click on "More >> " in the Colors window. It shows a numeric value for, Red, Green, and Blue. Also shows Hue, Saturation, Value and Transparency.

Neil Cassidy
... I think I read here about a site where if you uploaded a picture it would translate (whatever the word is) it to a colour pallette. ?Maybe it could be of use in finding different hex numbers etc ? There are probably a few of them, the one that I use is called Color Hunter. Quote Segment Image : Average Color (HSL) : Eigen Blur : []Cool, new forum!
