Physical Pixel Node Size Rather than Logical

Recommended Posts

I run into a rather interesting problem when dealing with small selection sizes: The distance considered to be in the area of a selection node (7 pixels) uses logical pixels. That is, if you zoom in 200% on an image, the physical number of pixels that will be considered within distance of a node is 14 pixels, or logical/apparent 7 pixels. This makes it impossible to move small selections, as zooming in doesn't allow you to move a now logically larger selection box. I think that mouse distance-to-node should be handled in a physical matter (like most other image applications), so that if you zoom in on an image, you will eventually get to the point where you can move a small selection.

Known issue. Clicking anywhere on the canvas with the Move Selected Pixels tool selected will allow you to move the selection.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
