Rubrica 14
how about you start from a basic cube and go from there? You can take it anyway you want, but the cube has to be the CENTRAL element? I like this very much.

Rubrica 14
Who else wants to go with that? Because as far as I'm concerned, it's the perfect, specific theme.

Rubrica 14
Right, if there are no sufficiently persuasive objections by lunchtime, we're going for it!
Rubrica 14
No objections? Good. The theme for competition two is... Cubism!
nemo 0
 i will be on a lot less now but i may try and pop on and make something for this. I really like the way pixel art is done but have never had a proper go
Rubrica 14
Well, cubism is quite easy, so it's the perfect theme to get started with! Even if you don't win or even come close (though I'm sure you will (as soon as you stop commenting on my gallery, the flattery stops. )), the main purpose of these competitions is to raise awareness of the art form. So far, we've failed at that.
nemo 0
i must admit its not exactly recognised is it..shame to be honest, especially if you realise how much work people actually put into their pieces..certainly the same as any realistic/abstract work
Rubrica 14
Ah well, it gives me something to do.

Rubrica 14
We do indeed. Well, an object that's faces are squares.

epic epiphany 4
I dare someone to make a companion cube. Haha I might make that as a side thing, not my entry! Quote Previously dgirl555, but now you can call me epic Oh, and I really like airbrushing photos
Simon Brown 46
well is their a plugin to save your images as icons?? (like desktop icons for computers) 'coz that would be great and i think that Vehicles would be a good topic for this Pixel Comp. Yes and it's stickied.

Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. And my entry is going to be amazing. E: So no cuboids then? Rubrica 14
I suppose cuboids are OK.... Yeah, go for it. Any comments on my WIP?
Kemaru 44
It's beautiful - it's very Tron-like. You could darken the outline in some places, though. As for my entry, I got two words for you: Pandora's Box. Quote Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule. |fb(page)|portfolio|blog|
Rubrica 14
Two words for you; I'm interested. VERY interested. I considered going that route. Incidentally, I really must look up Tron somehwen; all I've heard about it is the papercraft of Tron I made. Might not even be the right Tron. Anyway, My entry isn't doing too well. I've got some very difficult shading to do. Difficult for me, that is. A genius like you would find it no problem. At least my cupcake is nearly done.
theonlychad 5
ooohhh... i love cupcakes . I entered this one. First time attempting pixel art ... it is quite addicting.
