aaronhoffman Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 If the Shift Key + "Move Selected Pixels" combo is used (to maintain aspect ratio during resize) after the "Move Selection" tool is used to change the aspect ratio of the selection - the aspect ratio from before the "Move Selection" is used, and not the current aspect ratio. Steps to recreate: 1. Use "Rectangle Select" to select a area 2. yellowman Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Yes that's right, click cut and then past (both are available in the menu toolbar) on same layer, this will keep the new aspect ratio. I don't know if it is a bug as you mentioned, but I like this feature of keeping the original.
