dpy's Plugin Pack (2014-05-04)

Recommended Posts

Pity Norton doesn't scan itself, id itself as a virus and remove itself

skullbonz is right. Norton is a bit over-zealous. Temporarily turn it off to download and install the plugin pack, then enable it again.

We forgot to mention though that as long as you are downloading the pack from here it does not have a virus and not to worry. But if you downloaded it from anywhere else it could have a virus.

I disabled Norton, downloaded the file, started Norton again and as soon as I opened paint.net; Norton grabbed it and got rid of it. I even went into the firewall settings and individually entered each plug in into the exclusion list and but to no avail. I don't get it.

hi, I've installed the plugin, Paint.net was closed,I removed read only attributes to all files, and unblocked any that had unblock buttons but the effects still don't show up.

Is there anything else I can do to make this work?

Thanks

I signed up because I couldn't download the dpyplugins8.1.zip file. Every time I click on the link, I get some kind of XML error screen. I included an image with part of the text. I am using Firefox on a Windows 8 computer. Thanks.

I adjusted the attachments. Please try again.

Please install the free Windows 8.1 update, if you haven't already. Recent versions of paint.net do not run on Windows 8.

Thanks. Just tried and still get the same error page. I have 8.1 and Paint.net is working fine.

I had to open an account here just so I could say thank you so much for the speech bubble plug in. If you take suggestions, I have one small suggestion for allowing more places to put the direction. Or, if possible, is there a way I can edit the plugin using something like notepad to add in other directions?

I have follow the instructions step by step. I have it save in program files/paint.NET/effects, I have opened paint.net several times and even restarted my computer. there is no plugin errors in the settings. I still am unable to get this plugin to work on my paint.net. I got it on the Microsoft store. I have even deleted and downloaded it again just to make sure I did it right. what else can I do or where would this plugin be on paint.net?
