ponchik
How do I increase Color Depth in 3.36 version of paint.net?
BoltBait
Well, you could open a low color photo (like a gif file that has 256 colors) and File > Save As... a 32 bit PNG file. That would increase the color depth of the photo -- technically, however the picture itself would remain unchanged. Or, if you want the actual picture to change, you could try the Adjustments > Brightness / Contrast effect. Try lowering the brightness slider slightly and increase the contrast slider slightly. That might give you what you are looking for. If that is not what you want, could you be more specific, like with examples or something?
