rbowl
Hey everyone, thanks in advance for all your help... I am very new to this but was wondering if someone could answer or lead me to an answer for my question... Trying to make a header with a logo in the middle of a rectangle that is 960 by 112.. the logo in the middle is a fixed color background but I would like at least the top of the header and the two sides to gradient(I think) blend out to the color that is surrounding the header My issues: I can't figure out to have a gradient blend on all three sides? Want to make sure the middle stays as dark as the original color so the logo just natural blends in?
APShredder
You mean like this?: When you're using the gradient tool just change :LinearGradient: to . For more info on gradients try the help documents. Quote BlendModes Plus | Dissolve | Extract Color
rbowl
yes, however i would also like the top to gradient? basically like a border on the three sides that fades out? not the bottom i tried the blur effect but that just didn't look right
APShredder
Like this? For a gradient like that, draw a reflected gradient like in my above post, and then on a new layer draw a regular gradient and change the blend mode to screen. Quote BlendModes Plus | Dissolve | Extract Color
