doob
Hi all, I'm new here and not good english speaking (I'm Froggy !!!)... Well, I wonder if Paint.net can show the sized outline of the tool cursor ? Cause it's hard to erase pixels without seeing exactly the area you gonna modify. I didn't find any tuts or plugins, and there's no user preferences in Paint.net... Thanks for help. 007 Nab
You mean the size of the selection? Look at the bottom left corner of the Paint.NET window - there should be coordinates, area, and dimensions that dynamically change as you change the size / location of your selection. I hope I understood your question correctly, Nab Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. We should go snowboarding some time."~ 007 Nab. Ish. PDN Gallery | I Made a Deviant Art! Sarkut
Yeah, the erase circle shows only with mouse button up. So, you have to position as close as you want to get, go mouse-button-down, and erase away from what you want to keep.
007 Nab
Ahh, I see what the questions was now... Alternatively, if you think you'll mess up, duplicate the original layer and set the bottom one's Opacity to 0. Then, if you do mess up erasing, simply restore that specific area by pasting from the bottom layer. Quote "pyrochild, you're my favorite person ever. We should go snowboarding some time."~ 007 Nab.
