Barbieq25 Gallery - New collab with Welshblue p.1

I like your latest (as well as all the other ones :) ) but I think the fractal may be a bit too opaque, or the colour too strong.

I think I like "Freedom" and "Desire" best, but all your work is fantastic.

Chrisco, thank you

Heatstroke, I used an image created by another artist & I'm not sure what they used but the texture in the jewel is pure PDN.

Skully, thanks for stopping by & commenting. The colour is strong & the fractal fairly opaque but it looked wishy-washy otherwise. I like the new sig/avvie combo a lot.

Oh, barbie. It's dream-like. I love the colors. I can't reiterate enough how much I love your work (I might stop in here more than once).

Really like Dream Weaver. The fractal-esque looking things are awesome! I don't know how you did them but they are sweet !

Oh ! And Happy New Year !

Well bbq.. you really have had a very busy start to 2011

I may have missed commenting on your previous new pieces (sorry about that) but I really do love the "blue fractal one"..very subtle.

the new trio however are amazing..Moody Red has a deep feel to it..intense and strong..

Feather Star is different..light and uplifting..subtle colouring and almost delicate..like a "seashell"..

my favourite..(if it's possible to choose one!!) is Endless Circle..love the mix of silver and gold..perfectly done and the intertwinement(?) of the circles..flawless..no-begining-no-end.. B)

what a wonderful metaphor for the start of a new year..thanks for sharing.. :star:

regards j.d.

Barbie such wonderful work from you this year already. I love the feather one. Now that I think would make such a fine piece of jewlery.

wonderful work all around in your gallery, and when I need a little sparkle uplift to my spirits I often stop by your gallery here, or over at PDN or on DA. You make me smile.

I like all the 3 newest ... all supremely made, and all so very different.

It amazes me how you come up with so many designs ... I think you missed your vocation and should have been a jewellery designer.

If I had to pick a fave I think it would have to be Endless Circle for the feelings it evokes in me.

Awesome again ;)

I`ve already posted on Fans but I just have to agree with Welshy - they are all superb. The designs you come out with are amazing. If I could get to dA I would fave all three definitely. ;)

The Valentine image is simply cute. Love the deep, rich red color. The image right below the Valentine one is absolutely superb! Wow! That's a lot of detail!

2 more triumphs to add to your ever expanding hitz.

The valentine one is great, love the hearts. This is a personal preference thing now, but I'd love to see the text in chrome

Deco is awesome. Love the greens

How long did the outer fretwork take ?

Helen, Oma & Chrisco, thanks so much for your encouraging comments.

Welshy the fretwork was a font & then did Ella's glass text & an hour more of fiddling with effects it was happy with the result. It gave me a lot of grief.
