Beautiful work Barb.

Perfect textures, luv the old Ford.

I used to drive one of those back in the day,

up & down the main drag with my ratbag mates :-)

Oh boy, it has been so long since I posted any images that I have almost forgotten how!

Thank you all for the most encouraging comments.

I am in the process of building up a small home nursery to supplement my income - long story...

One of my fellow succulent addict has kindly allowed me to use his photos to create artworks. As soon as I saw his aeonium with the rain spots on it, I knew I had to create a wallpaper. I've called it Gothic Rain. I like dark & moody images & I am drawn to them in other artists too. So that you can see how it has been altered, I have added the original photo as well, as per frequent requests in the past.

@barbieq25  The wallpaper looks great, dark and moody for sure!  <3

The raindrops look like blood or on a cheerier note...nectar?  Wish you included a full-size image so I could see it better.  :)

EDIT: Links works just fine.  Lovely! :rainbow:

They are gorgeous @barbieq25 😍 They are not 'linked" to larger images (unless my computer is playing up again) and it would be great to view them bigger :D

Oh Boy - they look even more fantastic larger :)

Links working in the new post, but you need to do them on Page 1 also :D  Scary how soon one forgets how to do stuff after a while.  Happens to me all the time 🤣

Thank you @Pixey& @Woodsy

Woodsy, the raindrops were a part of the original photo. People living in South Australia have been experiencing some severe weather but my friend's place was spared the worst of it. They did get some rain which is not great for succulents in large amounts :D

I will update them there now too since I know they are working now. Thank you for letting me know.

And, yes, it sure is Pixey! :D

Love it.  Dark.  Moody.  Thought inspiring.  Not much more than that makes me happy.  And great title sums it up perfectly

I wish we lived closer - apart from sharing a coffee,  I'd be your biggest customer.  There's something really good about growing alpines and succulents together

Will 'rep that when I've got some

A thousand apologies, this is no water lily but sculent. I need to see an ophthalmologist.

Well, I see succulents where there are none :D It does look like a waterlily! And the image is very dark, maybe even more so on your screen?

@welshblue- yep, same here. The dark & moody & always been one of my loves & I know it is yours too. Funny think is I do like my environment to be bright. I chose the brightest room in the house for my office & have my kitchen aside from being no bigger than a hanky, it's dark :D

Oh the hours of fun we could have if we lived closer. I wanted to put a glass pane on one of the photos of my succulents but I sucked at it :D It didn't work but on the grye background it looked ok. I was so annoyed at myself that I binned the glass but in hindsight I should have put it up in the tute. I will have to try again - or maybe send you the succy photo & you can do the glass pane on it? :D :D :D  A collab? We haven't done one of those in forever.

Awesome new images.  Never nice to pick a favourite but out of this crop - Raindrops in Winter does it for me.  Succulents have such tactile fleshy leaves that to change it into something very alien like is brilliant.  I think succulents symbolise 'enduring love' and Winter Night's Dream gives that glow of passion.  A very close second

... and of course would love to do a collab' - send me the pic 😉

I really like them all @barbieq25. But "Raindrops in Winter" does it for me.

I hope you don't mind but I was playing around with a couple of them and "Titanium Rain" is my favorite. I brightened it up a little with the Laplacian Pyramid filter and that's all.
