Using fonts while font preview is open

Recommended Posts

As evidenced here, it is possible in many apps to do this. Supposedly GIMP, Jasc/Corel PaintShop Pro, and Photoshop support the feature. Why doesn't PDN support this? It would be of great help.

Quote from page:

if you punctually need a font, you don't need to install it. Just double-click on the .ttf file, and while the preview window is opened you can use it in most of the programs you'll launch (apart from a few exceptions like OpenOffice).

Try installing the beta release of Paint.NET v3.5.

If it doesn't work there, then oh well. I've never heard of being able

to do this. I won't add extra code to make

it work, either; it's an ultra corner case.
