How to get rid of a black outline around an object?

Recommended Posts

Ctrl+A

Delete

I'm sure this is correct, but it is maybe a little incomplete?

If I just open the image, and hold down Ctrl+A, nothing happens at all.

Also, even after the outline has been removed, will it still look like there is a frame around the gif?

I've tried the suggestion, but whatever I have done has not worked. The outline is still there.

Ctrl+A selects all of the image on the current layer. Delete should remove it. If it does not then I have to ask if you are perhaps mistaking the border that helps you differentiate the image canvas from the background from a border on your image?

Try saving your image and loading it into your browser. Does it appear with a border?
