diane31
Hi, Does paint.net have an "extract command" or something equivalent to that? Failing that, what do you recommand as the best way to extract a subject from its background? Thanks in advance for your help!
nemo
Use the magic wand tool = (play with tolerance) untill you have selected the whole subject then simply click delete -- you will be left with a transparent area where it was. Alternatively to the you could use the lasso tool which prety much has the same effect but you need to select hyhand so make sure you keep steady ( :LassoTool: ). Just remember after getting rid of your subject there is always a transparent area for where it once was.
