chrsswmr
I've looked around in in the tutorial section but can't find what I am looking for. I am trying to do a certain effect. I am trying to take the word 'TIME' and make it so it looks like sand is spilling out of the word. Kind of like how sand runs in an hourglass. I can't figure out how to get it. Does anyone have any idea how I can do this?
DarkShock
Not exactly sure what to suggest. Maybe you can try chad's tutorial on smokey text except use a brush that looks like sand at the bottom of your text. If that doesn't work for you a font might be your best option. Their might be a grunge looking font that is out their that might look like what you're looking for... LJXD
Use Smudge and then mabye try some frosted glass to make it look grainy. Oooh, and to give it some more of a grainy effect you could try Noise with 0 - Saturation and then motion blur it and set the layer to a low opacity. If thats too advanced than just try the first bit.
