yy10
I'm not an expert at this but normally, I find renders that seem to kinda be big. I hate it when renders have like gaps between there arms and bodies. They don't make good sigs. That's my tip. Kemaru
photobucket.com <-- Good stock photos, and good celebrity shots. deviantart.com <-- Good stock, tutorials, c4d, brushes etc. sxc.hu <-- Good stock photos. You'll find many other stock photo sites if you search for them. BoltBait
If I need a picture of something, I just use Google Image Search. Now, if it is for something professional, I use istockphoto since their rates are reasonable. theonlychad
I consider using renders cheating, but I would like a tut on how to use C4D's... You are contradicting yourself by saying using renders is cheating, but you still would use cd4's. Both which are not normally made by the person using them. DarkShock
(its going off topic :shock) ... but i consider stocks, cheating, cause its with background (not transperant)... if u guys get me?!?! You should probably chose your words a little bit more carefully. Using stocks isn't necessarily, but if you claim your work is 100% PdN, than it's cheating. I guess it really boils down to how you represent your work. I basically view cheating as claiming your work as one thing when it really is another... Example: Making signatures in Photoshop and claiming them as PdN made. Blooper
Google stock photobuckets, people make photobucket collections specifically for signature stocks. theonlychad
you could always make a signature using no stocks or renders as some of us do cough, cough, like my signature and avatar 100% pdn Quote  "Clearly it's a very serious and literal meaning. flip
Why does everyone need renders!? Just throw a bunch of random shapes and a render and you get a sig. Quote Gallery
sokagirl
I sometimes use renders but rarely anymore they are mostly too big , since I don't make anime nor gaming characters I use people so I either use pics of my favorite movies and blend them together or just play around with paint and create things out of the blue so then it would be 100% pdn otherwise I never claim it to be so .. I agree with what DarkShock wrote  people all the time use stocks , c4d's etc I see nothing wrong in it :?:
DarkShock
Why does everyone need renders!? Just throw a bunch of random shapes and a render and you get a sig. Most of the time it's more complicated than that. You have to make sure your color blend and compliment each other well. You have to make sure the flow is right and more...
