kimon
I must miss something very simple, but... I would like to flatten an image by saving it into a .jpg file. I would like one of the layer to take precendence over another one, but just the painted part of the layer. the unpainted part of the layer should be transparent to the layer below. Any idea? BoltBait
Select the layer where you want some transparent area. Select the area you want to be transparent. Press the "Delete" key. Illnab1024
Take the magic wand, and Ctrl+click on all unpainted parts of the image. Adjust the tolerance bar (blue bar on the tools window) if it is selecting too little or too much. Then, press delete. Make sure your layer is on top by pressing on the appropriate arrows in the Layers window. Then Flatten (Ctrl + Shift +F) the image when you have it the way you want it.
