Will uninstalling and re-instaling a problem fornt fix the problem, because I have the same thing happen to me, but I really love the fonts that I believe are causing the problem.

I think I have almost all my fonts from dafont, and I also have this problem with the scroll freezing. Gonna delete all new fonts, and replace them one by one with a tryout on each after reinstalling. Thanx on the info peeps.

As stated earlier, your font may be corrupt.

Try removing it and redownloading it.

jorge! what kind of font was it as Paint.NET only supports TureType Fonts.

Also how did you install it ?

Did you just drag and drop the font or did you use windows font installer like you should do. (I have see the drag and dorp make errors with good fonts were as the windows font installer I have not seen it make errors unless the font is corrupt)

Did you keep a list of fonts you have download and tested like was siad so you can pin point bad fonts.

Here is a tutorial that may help you install fonts for Paint.NET: Click Here
