Making backgrounds?

Recommended Posts

PrairieGirl95:

Are you trying to make a background for a web blog, as shown in your link, or is the image for something else?

At what point are things going wrong?

Could you post screenshots of your failed attempts, and point out what you don't like

and how you would prefer the image to look?

Need more info.

Yes, this will be for a web blog. I think I pretty much figured it out, but when I apply it to the site it is too narrow as shown here:

How do I make it to fit the site? But then the site where it showed how to do this (in mt first post) it gave me the measurements and that is how it turned out.... so yes I need help... lol

@PrairieGirl95: Thread titles need to be specific and descriptive as per Rule #6

Editing this will fill in the side areas. You need to run a picture from side to side behind the middle

part of the page. A standard 800X600 pixel image seems to work well. Just be sure no imagery is cut off by the mid-portion of the page.

The templates on this blog site don't really match the description on the site linked to in your first post.

So the background that I made won't work?

Yes, I know, but I figured out how to use them on that blog site. ;)
