david.atwell
Turn on Windows Update. It'll download Service Pack 2. Or just search for Windows XP Service Pack 2 on Microsoft.com. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Sarkut
LE0: The download on this page should work fine. Ignore what it says about Developers and Professionals. Read the information on the download page carefully. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en ========================================================================= Choose this option: Save or Save this program to disk. ========================================================================= After the Service Pack is fully downloaded, you can click on it to install. Sarkut
LE0: DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE UPDATING JUST ONE COMPUTER -- They say this mostly to save their bandwidth, I believe. I used that download to do my XP SP2 no problem. The last time I tried to use Windows Update to do a SP was several years ago. It hung up and wouldn't complete the install. Since then I've always downloaded SPs from Microsoft.com, burned to DVD, and installed from the DVD. Never a problem. Maybe you could post a screenshot of what NET framework 3.5 displays when it is asking for XP SP2.
