download problem (hope this is right place)

recently changed my computer and I can't get paint.net on the new unit same os but everytime I download and try to install it tells me that there is a corrupted file I will paste in the error message to follow

Error : Error: corrupted archive file

c:\Documents and Settings\owner\local settings\Temp\_AZTMP0_\Paint.net.3.36.exe

Error:Error Corrupted Archive file

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\_AZTMP0_\Paint.Net.3.36.exe

Error: C:\Documents and Settings\owner\Local Settings\Temp\_AZTMP0\Paint.NET.3.36.exe file has been corrupted.(CRC error)

I have no idea what this means any help would be greatly appreciated

Try deleting the Paint.net folder in "Program Files".

From my past experience, that'll make it harder to both install and uninstall as it won't remove it completely.
