And another new piece. I didn't really fiddle with effects in this one, it was more of a constant add-a-new-layer-marathon

The eye-catcher was strangely the last thing that came to my mind when creating this..

not bad Its too bad the turquoise is not shaded or gradiant. Might be a bit more eye candy that way. looks sort of like you are looking at a frog from above. the turquoise part that's in the middle is the head and those two offshoots are the front legs.

It has possiblities just needs some texture.

Alright that's another way to look at it

For me, it looks like this (hence the title):

Giving the turquoise part a more defined texture wouldn't fit the more or less other transparent parts of the image, the eye has to remain a spheric object

The background is nice & the edges of the orb have a really cool glassy effect & I like the turquoise colour but somehow the image doesn't flow very well probably as Oma said the turquoise needs a gradient. It's a bit flat.

Just to add another dimension, i see a whole abstract head and face, the pupil as the mouth and the light blue forms a mask covering lower face and nose, the background makes me think of a fanned headdress
