Hennersdorf
After many comments and recommendations I like to sum up the last experiences with Paint.NET installation. Shortly spoken: disappointed! There is after having installed ALL versions of MS.NET always the same error message during installation I listed before. It is a "remove previous versions" routine, which then calls for an .msi file which is expected to be on a CDROM (which I don't have using an electronic download. The registry is FREE of all paint.net entries. It really bothers. I am so obstinate because I believe in the neat and nice prog which I used before so many times. And now... nothing goes. I am really diappointed. And nobody of the experts till now could send me an appropriate hint. Waiting for more... /ghe

Hennersdorf
Hi Rick, sure I did, but this did not fix my problem. I think it is a real bug, even if looking for the many forum entries concerning. So I decided to use this prog no more until the bug is solved and in the meantime I advise against it. Thanks /ghe
