PdNPatrick
Ooooh let the games begin I vote for: Sharp Reason: It's simple and sleek, and I love the color and the little ball thing Sharp: 1 SkullSplitter:
flip
They're both good, but I end up with Sharp. Skull, your sig is good, but the lighter part on the top is too distracting and the bullets(?) stick out a lot. Sharp: 2 Skull: 0 Gallery
Blooper
Sharp wins, though I think the background is lacking. Make it more three-dimensional. Skull, the gloss effect is out of place and doesn't really belong in a war sig. Maybe you could add some C4Ds or smudging to make it more interesting. :] http://synthastic.deviantart.com http://soundcloud.com/siderealenterprise Lockerz invites are available, PM me

Kemaru
I'll enter the next one: Random note: I just noticed something that seems to be a hand holding a sharp-edged boomerang in my sig. Next to the render. :o :o Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule. |fb(page)|portfolio|blog|

You should get the Win7 theme for XP. Then get the rest of Win7. Then uninstall XP. Then it'll really look nice. ~ David Atwell
flip
Ehh, I hate doing this, but I made a sig with a render in it. I'm sure I'll lose, but whatevs. Gallery

flip
I just don't like sigs with renders. I don't think they take much effort to make. Gallery
TopHATslash
They do, if you know how to make them. There are a bunch of guidelines and techniques to them.. its amazing. You can't just paste a render onto a background and think its a sig. You have to get flow going, a nice depth, unique effects, etc. I'm not even very good at them compared to some of the guys on FringeFX and SigResource.. Blooper
I find it funny that you think render sigs don't take much of an effort but you make one and before anyone even votes, you're already expecting to lose. Maybe you're the one not putting effort into your sigs? http://synthastic.deviantart.com http://soundcloud.com/siderealenterprise Lockerz invites are available, PM me

Maybe you're the one not putting effort into your sigs? I'm expecting to lose because there's probably something wrong with mine that I don't know. They do, if you know how to make them. Blooper
You're right, a lot is wrong with your sig. Something about copy pasting must be eluding you... [Edit] I just want to add that this forum has no excellent sig artists. Novice < Intermediate < Moderate < Semi Pro < Pro Everyone here is either Novice, Intermediate, or Moderate (VERY few of those, if any). This is not the place to make judgments about signatures. http://synthastic.deviantart.com http://soundcloud.com/siderealenterprise Lockerz invites are available, PM me
SkullSplitter
Can I vote? I vote Kemaru. I don't particularly like the colors, but the effects are pretty. flip's is a bit too empty and monotone. Sharp
Kemaru: 2 FliP:0 The fx are cool. Regarding sigs with renders: They are harder to make than they look, and there is a lot that go into them. Only reason I don't like making them is because of all the stocks/C4D's etc. I prefer making the fx 100% PDN. Blooper
Kemaru wins, though I think the sig is very messy. Flip's is too monotone and lacks contract in my opinion. Also, you don't have to use stocks for FX. I don't. http://synthastic.deviantart.com http://soundcloud.com/siderealenterprise Lockerz invites are available, PM me
