Chris_Rulez
How do you download Custom Brushes to the Custom Brushes onto the Paint.net Custom Brushes? I want to download a certain one and I do not know how.. I might be missing a tut or something, but I really want to know.. Quote The post above probably has crappy art.. APShredder
Just download the brushes and put them in the Custom Brushes folder in your Paint.NET User Files folder in My Documents. Quote BlendModes Plus | Dissolve | Extract Color
Goonfella
Don`t forget that they will have to be converted to PNG files if they are PS brushes. For that you need the abrViewer - http://abrviewer.sourceforge.net/ And if you need some help this should sort you out - viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27088 Enjoy! APShredder
You need to donwload a program that can open .rar files (.rar files are similar to .zip files). Most people use winRAR for .rar files, but it's only free for the first 40 days and then you have to buy it. But for your purposes you could just download it, use it to unzip the .rar file, and then uninstall it. Hope this helps. Goonfella
Strange. When I downloaded it I had no trouble, and I don`t have Winrar I just used Vista`s built in file extraction. I wonder if the file has been changed to a RAR file recently? And I can't download the brushes and if I close the window.. it just closes without any effect.. So :?: :?: :?: Quote The post above probably has crappy art.. Goonfella
You say you can`t download the brushes?I assume by this that you mean that have not downloaded them to your PC. Maybe this is the problem. You download the brushes first, then unzip them and open them into the abrViewer where they are processed. Then click on `Export' and save to either the Custom Brushes folder in PDN User Files or , as I do, to a Brushes folder in my documents. The advantage of doing this is that you can pick and choose which brushes to copy into the plug in file. If you need one of the others at any time just copy it in. Chris_Rulez
But it doesn't say its ZIPed.. Quote The post above probably has crappy art.. Just look past that
Goonfella
Whether it`s zipped or not doesn`t really matter. The brushes are saved the same way. Have you tried downloading a different set of brushes just to double check ?
