br945
I have a still image. I would like to show the still image alongside and animated gif in one single image. e.g. the animated gif can be on left side and the still image on the right side. can any one please suggest whether it is possible with paint.net. thanks. Curmudgeon
sure...the animated gif image is just a series of images you created which play in order... so, for your example, if you create each frame of the gif with the still image on the right side, and make subtle changes to it on the left side to animate it, when you combine those images to form your gif, it would appear like the static image was on the right, while the left was animating. Curmudgeon
for example, if you are making an animation of a ball bouncing, you might: create one image so it shows the "static" ball on the right, and the ball on the left...create another image with the "static" ball on the right, and the ball on the left, moved downwards a bitcreate another image with the "static" ball on the right, and the ball on the left, hitting the groundcreate another image with the "static" ball on the right, and the ball on the left, rising upwardsetc. etc.... Curmudgeon
the best resource is the tutorial I linked to in your other post, with the spider animation you wanted to place on the woman's face...it explains what all you need
