madmimi
Can I use this program to save an image in DFX format? I'm an unemployed newbie trying to start a new business with limited resouces. Please be kind with your response.
Sozo
Unless there's a plugin I can't find, no, DFX is not a supported filetype. You could put a request out though. Please be kind with your response. That's a rule in these here parts.
Rick Brewster
I've never heard of DFX. You will have to find someone willing to write a plugin for it (yourself? hire someone?). Mike Ryan
I don't think it will be possible anytime soon to use DFX in Paint.NET, not at least until we have a proper way to handle .SVF files. For any who are wondering, .DFX is the AutoCAD proprietary format
Rick Brewster
Honestly it'd be cheaper and better to just buy a license to AutoCAD than to try and develop a plugin to shoehorn it into Paint.NET somehow. Especially because you'd lose a whole ton of information in the process. Paint.NET only deals with pixels. Anyway that's my opinion. Simon Brown
If you can't afford AutoCAD, Blender supports DFX.
