Polyphony is a Sony-owned studio, so Gran Turismo is Playstation-exclusive.

Gran Turismo: PS1

Gran Turismo 2: PS1

Gran Turismo 3: PS2

Gran Turismo 4: PS2

Gran Turismo 5 / Prologue:PS3

And yes, cazaron, Grindelwald's first and last appearance was in Gran Turismo 2. :(

and grindelwald was one helluva track. i do remember it annoying the hell out of me a lot though. i was a speed demon, just driving fast, no respect for corners, and grindelwald punished me...

You should get the Win7 theme for XP. Then get the rest of Win7. Then uninstall XP. Then it'll really look nice. ~ David Atwell

I loved rocketing down the back stretch, easing up ever so slightly for the little jogs, then slamming on the brakes for the hairpin at the end. That cluster of turns back there before the front stretch was so brilliant - the angles of the turns were just barely wide enough that, with a properly tuned car and careful throttle control, you could accelerate all the way through it and hit the straightaway flying.

I loved taking the Lotus Esprit GT there, but since it was mid-rear, you had to be especially careful on the first half of the track - the mild banking on those turns up the hill would mess you up if you got back on the gas too early.

Yeah, GT2 was brilliant, but the handling model was a little forgiving - especially on breaking while turning. I honestly think GT4 is my favorite as far as driving feel is concerned - plus, it was the first GT to include Nürburgring - and it saddens me that I can't race Grindelwald under the new handling model.

And then there's Tourist Trophy. Man, hitting Deep Forest on a motorcycle is freakin' awesome. :D

absolutely. i love GT4. i want to go grab me GT5 when it's out.

GT2 was a bit shaky on the handling, though a lot of fun. i loved doing the test course event with an escudo, and winning it easily, and getting those HKS Drag things, worth 100,000. easy money for me.

i worked out a really fast money making solution (1,000,000 in 15 mins) in GT4. PM me if anyone is interested. if i get a few replies, ill post it here.

What is it? Racing the Costa di Amalfi Beginner level challenge group - 2 laps each way - three times and selling the three Toyota RSC Rally cars at 275000 each? ;)

The GT was and still is awesome. GT5 looks amazing too. I'm more of a Formula 1 person though when it comes to racing. An F1 car is the ultimate vehicle to race in. The difference is quite substantial between a normal car, say a Veyron in GT5, than an F1 car, say a Mclaren MP4-24. An F1 car really does test your driving skills, so you can't do this:

just driving fast, no respect for corners...
:P

Also, I really can't wait for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F1_2010_%28video_game%29

I am so gonna get it when it comes out.

Merry Christmas

no, no, MUCH faster than that... thats for the start of the game...

Deutsche Touring Car Meistershaft (Spelling?) in European Events

Audi Abt Touring Car (The Blue One) Fully Tuned

B-Spec

Set the B-Spec Driver to the following speeds, put on overtake, broadcast view and X3 speed

Opera Paris- 2

Midfield - 2

High Speed Ring - 3

Nurburgring - 1

Fuji - 2

this should only take you 15 minutes. you get like 15 000 for each win (75 000), 150 000 for winning the whole thing (225 000) and a car worth 743 000 (968 000 all up.) for 15 mins work, thats really easy. one hour can get you a pescarolo...

no it isnt.;P

its a fast money making technique. if the game puts it there to be utilised, utilise it ;P

now, on a less sarcastic note...

yes, i agree. cheating, but good for getting cars you want, nonetheless. and its quick.

Meh. I'm really not into gaming on the PC. I just prefer consoles for some reason. (i guess because I don't have to worry about system requirements)

Does anyone know what the biggest Game Map is. I read in a Guinness Book Of World Records it was Just Cause, which i Have on xbox, and the game world is massive, but that was released in 2006 so the record must've been broken. I've tried Googling but, alas, Google has failed me

I was at Wal-Mart the other day, and I saw the Hitman Trilogy for PS2 in their dump bin - Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, all for $20. I'd never played any of the Hitman series, but I'd heard good things about them, I love stealth-based gameplay, and I was intrigued by the idea of an open-ended stealth game that had more to it than just sitting in implausibly dark shadows while guards blindly patrolled past you (I'm looking at you, Splinter Cell - I mean, I love Splinter Cell, but it's obvious the guys at Ubisoft have never heard of radiosity).

So far, the games seem pretty awesome. I love the fact that they can be played in either third or first person mode, and when you off a guard, steal his uniform, and use it to walk past other guards in broad daylight undetected, it's fantastically tense.

@Frontcannon: Funny vid :lol:

Also: You guys should check out the TGS videos Gametrailers.com is putting up. I'm sure I'll get Lost Planet 2 now. I also might get FF XIII and I'm not so sure about Crackdown 2.

Anyone else here playing Toribash?

It's a free physics-fighting game, and it's really fun :D

I'm a Bluebelt, so you know ;)

I just tried it out. Looks like it takes a lot of practice...

Anyone here try out Portal: Prelude?

It's a more difficult version of Portal and it's free for PC download.

Its front page says you still need to have Portal installed in order to play.

So unless you meant the mod itself is free (likely), you still have to pay for the original game.
