kate
My test site is here: http://carolynchappellhome.com I think those circles with the navigation links in them need . . . something. But I'm kind of artistically challenged and can't figure out what, exactly, or how to do it. Any suggestions? Something fairly simple to do, please. I'm thinking making them bubble-like or ball like or is there even a difference? I don't know. Help please?

Ego Eram Reputo
Two things to try: 1. BoltBait's Bevel plugin. This would give you a really nice 3D effect with minimal effort. 2. MadJik's Buttons plugin. Would give you more options and some really cool shiny buttons! To find these, browse the Plugin forum or go here: http://www.getpaint.net/search.html Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

soul41
I don't think that anything is wrong with them. Right now the simplicity of the circle flows nicely with all of the other areas of the site.

Ego Eram Reputo
My test site..... Reading the text from the site we see that more reworking of the site will follow, with the nav buttons being just one item. Perhaps the intention is to replace many of the current graphics with those in a different theme. I like this approach - quick placeholder graphics of the right size until time permits you to upgrade and improve them. kate
Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback. I had an idea to just make a small outline around them, what do you think? http://carolynchappellhome.com BTW, the design is pretty much done, I'm just trying to figure out a few coding problems because it's messing up in Internet Explorer. Any other comments or opinions about the look of the site are welcome.

Benji2
Use the outline object plugin and create a small black or white circle around them? kinda lame. Also try using th align object plugin to center your text I know mine is lame. Its just an example
