Simon Brown
SpreadPaint.NET is a site in-progress dedicated to promoting Paint.NET. While the theme and CMS are currently not finished, CMD, Mike Ryan, and I are looking for help in developing the site such as banners, feedback and ideas from the community on how the site-in-progress could be improved. If you have any comments on the site click here.. Note: This was posted with the permission of david.atwell.

Mike Ryan
For those of you who might still be unsure as to what SpreadPaint.NET is, here is a quick rundown: SpreadPaint.NET plans to integrate modern web technologies to advertise and promote Paint.NET software to multiple platforms. It is highly modeled after http://www.SpreadFirefox.com in that it is community driven, with little to no involvement of Paint.NET's developer(s). Because its core centralizes on community based tools, we want to ensure that the community we would expect to be involved has the opportunity to help shape SpreadPaint.NET into a usable platform capable of accomplishing its original goals. Currently, we do have server space as well as the appropriate domain. We are using the web app WizeHive to collect our notes and progress, and do offer membership to any community member. To join our WizeHive, please click here. The more participation, the quicker our project can grow and flourish. If you have any comments or concerns, feel free to email us at Webmaster[at]spreadpaint.net or PM user Simon Brown or myself. As well, feel free to post notes on our WizeHive, and check out our progress at http://www.SpreadPaint.NET. Thanks!

Benji2
Suggetions: Add sections in the download area to: download the product, wallpapers/pictures) and redirect to the plugin section maybe? Have an FAQ on there? Say it's free! o.o Post the benifts it has over paint(some people need that kind of stuff) Maybe ask some people who are frequently online (and know some stuff about the program) to submit their AIM/MSN/other-chat-service ScreenNames. Then post these on the website to help people?(making a new screen name with a new email and linking their personal and Paint.net screennames to keep form getting spammed?) links to the php search and other usefull already designed paint.net sites? Simon Brown
I'll consider those ideas, but the main purpose of the site is to help existing users promote PDN, rather than provide resources to new ones.

Simon Brown
A background would be useful, as the one I created looks bad.

cazaron
CMD said it previously. whats a canvs? (the header image says "from canvas to canvs") Quote You should get the Win7 theme for XP. Then get the rest of Win7. Then uninstall XP. Then it'll really look nice. ~ David Atwell

Ahh I see, I wasnt aware of that haha. i should have read more carefully. Maybe put up some examples or things you can do with photoshop, that you can also do in paint.net (for those people that will immediately discredit it because it isnt photoshop) Show custom user plugins (examples) how helpful the forum is? (with explanations coding and pretty much anything)

LFC4EVER
This is a great idea for a project. Why a really pixelly font for the logo though? Maybe there should be a competition to design a spreadpaint.net logo and the winners logo is used.. or maybe to design a whole website for spreadpaint.net.. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
