Newbie
Anyone out there who can help me convert an imported colour photograph, to an 'outlined' image such as that found in paint-by-numbers books? I'm a total newcomer to image management and would appreciate any help you can offer. Cheers!

BuzzKill
barkbark00, did you do that in PdN or did you utilize the sketch effect on your samsung mobile? - DO NOT contact me asking for the .pdn of my avatar or the PDN logo. barkbark00
I could try with the tut. there was like 3 different layers and I was just messin with all of them to see what I could get. I think there was a high contrast layer and a low contrast layer, I did a edge detect in code lab for both then combined the outcome of both, there was something in there with the original images aswell. I'll try and put something together Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster

Newbie
Kinda. I sort of managed to get to that stage, but really wanted to lose the "shading" effect. What I wanted is just the outline of where colours begin and end... not the graduation or merging between them. Thanks for the help.
