Well i found this interactive game on youtube and you have to hold ur breath until you give up:

Please,PLEASE don't hurt yourself by doing this...common sense.

Post your times here, my record is like about 70 secs, good for a 12 yr old =).

Do we really need skills? I don't think so with PDN. =P

Meh, it's interesting. I say it can stay. Other mods are free to disagree, of course.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I believe it is physically impossible to kill yourself by holding your breath, without any obstructions to your mouth and/or nose.

Science agrees. Assuming you can even starve your brain of oxygen long enough to lose consciousness, you will eventually pass out. As soon as you pass out from oxygen deprivation, your reflex kicks in, opens your mouth, and starts flexing your diaphragm.

Again, that's assuming you can even get to that point. Most people can't.

1st try - 83 secs

2nd try - 2 minutes exactly :P (I have a feeling I could have kept going for just a bit longer  as always..)

And, when we tested it during a class of biology, my lungs are ~5,7 litres 8)

EDIT:

Please forgive my possible complaints. I'm but an annoying little perfectionist when it comes to using english...

A year ago I got exactly 60 secs by holding a stopwatch in front of my eyes and holding my breath; I was basically bursting when I let go! But now I can only get 40-50 secs. lol

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words...

words might hurt me deeply, causing great emotional, mental, and psychological damage leading to a lowered self-esteem and decreased work-related efficiency.
